Yes,

it will also let you use the gpu temperature (assuming all are a bit different) to figure out which gpu is actually the screwy one since cgminer assigns them however it feels.

My rig with five GPUs seem to be running fine now. It appears like you can't run the same settings from different GPU manufacturer even though they're both 280x.

Edit: Isolated the problem GPU. Tried changing riser cards, PCI-E cables, slots, etc. The same card was still giving me problems. Tried solo mining with said problem GPU and it instantly crashed Windows when I launched cgminer. Will try to do an exchange with NewEgg asap and hopefully get another one sent to me. I've lost two days worth of mining troubleshooting this thing. Feels bad man, lol.

What pool is everyone mining right now? I have both rigs pointed to waffles right now, but I think I'm going to split up the mining. One for waffles and another at clevermining. Diversify my earnings.

From what I was reading waffle changed some things the stats on pool picker showed waffle up yesterday.

No reason to switch if it's working.

Are people still sticking with Clever or Waffle? I'm just curious if anyone has hopped to something else.

I've been mining Myriadcoin for a little while now. With the Skein kernel, I dropped my power consumption by ~250W. My spare room isn't as much of a sauna like it was when I on Clevermining.

I'm just being patient while I wait for my Fibonacci units to be available. Tons of Mhash/sec for ~120W? Yes, please.

I've been mining heavycoin, but it looks like it isn't that profitable anymore...

It did drop my power consumption by half compared to scrypt

I thought I would share my first dedicated miner. Its a open air PVC case running 6 750TI's pumping out a total of 300 KH/s for 1.8MH/s. Its super silent compared to my 2 290's reference designed cooler. Plus it only draws 450 watts from the wall.

I actually let my oil tank run out because the computers are keeping the house in the high 60s on their own, not a big deal to reprime later on. Will refill it when the price dips this summer. Once it starts really warming up i'll have to wire up something in the basement for the computers.

On the upside made about .4 btc in trades since yesterday evening.

From what i've been reading theres a ton of asic scrypt power out there now and thats whats bringing down the pools. Keep on reading about people seeing a roaming 20mh that goes onto and off of waffle supposedly is asic manufacturer.

Is it normal to have one card mining slightly below the other cards in a multi-gpu rig? I have four 280X (all the same model/brand) and they're all mining at around 741. One is always below the other three and mines at around 721.

seems like i usually have one low

with the rise in max value i went from 2.2 btc yesterday to about 3.7 at current max price.

on the downside the difficulty has spiked too, went from about 17 an hour to 5 or so.

kicking myself selling nearly everything mined the last week or so before the rise, i should've known better seeing the rich list loading up

Waffles is getting hit hard. Anyone mess with failover settings? Might have to start adding failover servers.
