You would need an engine build to use it, the blower being used in the kits is more than enough for a stock engine..

you could use it (c38) on the stock block but not spin it very high until such time as you want to build the engine. in this case The c30 would be more efficient below 4000rpm but as a positive you could push 20+psi with the c38 and have ridiculous power later on.
IMO c30 is really all that is needed for this car anyway but some people need more power. |

The JR kit cant be upgraded iirc because of the placement, on the contrary it should be possible with Kraftwerks

You using tial or turbo smart bov? He sent me one for a tial while I am using turbo smart bov. Contacted him, he never sent a new one, so I just made one. Good luck, I had to replace most fittings that came with the kit, as well rework most of the kit. If this pipe I have sitting around would help I would send it to you but I have a feeling it was not intended for a brz.

you could probable get away with higher compression since 20 psi is about the max you'd want to run (efficiency wise) imo 11 or 11.5:1 would be good enough i think someone managed 20psi on pump gas (stock block 400+whp). 10:1 would make things much safer and a bit less responsive though.
