I'm sure you could definitely take a heat gun to undo that black silicone, do whatever work you need to do and then use the heat gun again to re seal it, I just didn't think about that at the time. Either way it will work.

You can pull it off without a heat gun. In fact, using a heat gun will just make it a terrible mess.
But yeah, I'm not going to comment on the lights in the door speaker grill since it's not my cup of tea. |

Can you connect this controller to Acc
so every time you switch the ignition the leds will go on with the rest of the lights ? OR do you have to use the remote every time ? |

and better yet.. you could have just tapped into one of those wires for power instead of running the wires for power source back ..
