As a small update to you guys, when I get paid this Friday I'm going to be ordering a DIY oil cooler using the Mocal sandwich plate for our cars. The plate can be clocked to face any direction so I'm hoping I'll be able to make it work this way. Plus..it's thermostatically controlled. I don't want my oil too cold either! I'll update you guys on how well this works out, at the moment it's looking like the kit will cost me ~$490 with the thermostatic mocal plate, aeroquip or mocal fittings, aeroquip hose and a nice 16 row setrab core.
Additionally, on the weekend of April 5th i'll be headed to chuckwalla valley raceway to do some track torture testing along with @CSG_Mike. Fun things to come

I think your enemy is going to be height required to clear the oil filler cap. The Mocal takeoff plate with the spacer doesn't get the fittings above the cap. Are you going to turn it so fittings are towards the engine and then up and over?

I will either turn the fittings towards the motor or get a low profile oil cap for sure, I'm taking a few measurements today

I think over the cap is out. Only chance is towards the back and up and over. Will be awesome if it fits.
