Haven't seen any issue in logs from Costco. However I did ask juggles if he accidentally put 87 in his tank when he sent me the logs lol.

I wouldn't do 87. I think the dealer accidentally put 87 octane in the tank and the tip in knock was quite aggressive. I was planning on draining the tank and putting a small amount of 87 in a friends car that was willing to let me put 87 with OEM rom on and log it so show why you shouldn't do it.

I'm close to needing new tires. Believe it or not, I'm at 32k still on stock tires

If you want the Eagle's, you're welcome to them, make an offer? Tire rack doesn't stock them anymore, but the closest size to these I could find is a 235/50-17 and they are on closeout for $146 per tire.

I used 87 for a single fill, and I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. I wonder if that's because the premium I use is crap.

I also didn't notice a difference in the feel of the car this morning after putting Eneos Sustina in. I saw some mention of a smoother gear shift?

What I did notice was almost a 3 mpg increase. I'm getting just over 29 mpg now, and my commute is 2/3rds city driving, 1/3rd highway. I drove it just as I usually do.

Edit: I probably drove it harder, actually. (Because I was trying to notice a difference in feel)

Gratz on the house, though. That's awesome.

When I need new tires, I might just come off the stock rims and do the research then for what fits but is wider.

Alright I paid to bring both the Vette and the FRS to IFO (It was only 5.00 more to do that instead of paying 20 for Cheyenne to come out) so it looks like I will be running both! Should be fun as this will be the Vette's first time back out at SIR after redoing the motor.

This is thanks to unavoidable tire pieces sitting in the road that I hit at about 70 mph. Just SITTING in the middle of the lane that I couldn't dodge in time:

You said you were not sure if it would still work. Plus it sounds like a few of the guys here would like Chey to invite her single friends...

I always wonder what is the legal standing or insurance view point on that. Its parts of another vehicle (aka Semi) on the road that they just leave there and it causes damage. Not your fault but how do they choose to handle it?

I'd guess comprehensive coverage. I need to find out if the bill would be more than my deductible.

Hopefully fixing time would be less than a day after front bumper arrives. Fender liner may need replacing too.

From the looks of it, it's just the wheel well liner...that should be cheap to replace.
