Pretty much, other than catted being quieter.

People: Please stop recommending OFH UEL headers until I can put in my order. I don't want to wait any longer in line.

Stay away from OFH... until next week, after next week it's back to being a fantastic option.

Preferred? Not willing to commit to one, but I'd prefer to have a flex joint than not.

Any catted UEL or EL headers out there that won't cause a CEL on stock tuning/programming? I know it's a tall order but from what I've been reading, there isn't anything really...

If I'm not mistaken, O2 spacers help keep the CEL from coming on... as often. Though, with an ODBII module and some software (Torque is the go-to), you can clear the CEL easy.

At least, that's the route I'm gonna go before I get a tune.

EL - Gutted stock header - Roughlty the same gains as any other aftermarket EL, price = free.
UEL - OFH - Great price, Second to none support, OTS tunes, Boxer RRRRRRumble!

FT86 Speed Factory Catted UEL header. You'll have to get in the back of the line though...

For a catted UEL...FT86Speedfactory. Non Catted UEL...JDL easily the best two options...

+1 for OFH as far as uncatted goes

FT86 for catted UEL

Best 2 choices available at the moment IMO.

I'm trying to find that out too.

Im wanting to get the Open Flash Header because the value is absolutely amazing.
That, and I have the Open Flash Tablet and the UEL Tunes provided were tuned using the OFH.

Personally tho, the JDL sound a bit better to me. However it could be the camera mic.

Both of these videos are UEL Header on stock exhaust (which is what I plan to do)
