That looks really good for replica...and for 350 that makes my wallet happy. Now...to find replica STi badges for each piece.

Welp, found out I probably damaged some $400, special-order sorcery box when I went to install my door light LEDs:

http://**************.com/9-subaru-b...hts-doors.html <<<<<< Replace the asterisks with "**************" -- for some reason every time I link that URL the forum redacts part of it.

Oh well, I think I'll just leave it. A couple of LEDs that are barely-running will take ages to significantly impact the battery charge anyway. Still, wish I'd known that it was incredibly easy to damage a $400 part when working on the door lights!

Note to people installing LED replacements: be very careful and make sure your battery is disconnected when you go to insert or remove those bulbs! Most of my experience with electrical stuff comes from working with PC bits, so I'm pretty used to being able to connect and disconnect things while things are running... not a good idea when Subaru decides to use an un-insulated, electrified carrier for the bulb :\

I love my front WeatherTech floormats, but I opted for the OEM trunk liner.

I know very few 'PC bits' that you can disconnect with it powered...but I am sorry for your loss.

Went to DMV, was told I couldn't be helped (at today's clerk was trying to be helpful instead of telling me over and over again that the things written on their own paperwork / website "didn't matter"). The lady tried to bring up details on yesterday's transaction and said that everything was, "still processing." My BRZ wasn't even in the DMV database yet, and the only thing she could see was that there was a pending transaction. She gave me the same form and said I should file for a refund with Sacramento. I asked if they could tell me the amount of the late penalties, and she said they couldn't until the transaction was finished. So basically I have to go back in a week, wait another hour and a half just to find out how much they charged me (because the horrible dinosaur lady from the first day refused to tell me the amount of the penalties), then file with Sacramento and wait for a refund that will probably never come.

In other news, at least two other people (the "greeter" type person at the front desk who hands out numbers, and a neighboring clerk when I finally got called on) said that "it doesn't matter: all that matters is when you brought the car into the state," despite the fact that their rules explicitly and plainly state otherwise. I don't know how they get such retarded degenerate assholes to work there, but damn if 90% of their employees aren't massive douches.

.... Welcome to California, where sun's always shining and sports cars are not seasonal. Where some residents might consider being physically tortured instead of going to the DMV. Yeah fuck the asshats of the DMV. This state's a great place to be, but hell, we can't even afford to fund our public education.

I liked your CO plates better than our shitty CA plates anyway. Hope this all gets worked out. Lie to them and say that you're moving back to CO so you won't have to deal with that, and magically move back again when your plates expire >__>
