I thought a TMIC is good for rally cars so if the front gets mangled you could have a better chance to still keep going.

Yes, 5x114.3 requires spacer adapters and might require your lugs to be shaved down to fit if there's not enough back pocket behind the wheels. Those wheels are beautiful. I had them on my 2011 WRX. They're heavy, though, so I didn't consider them for my BRZ for very long. Maybe if I had a turbo or something, then yeah.
lol, I still have u on Whatsapp.

Btw, for the BBS wheels, which spacer adapters did you get and how was the fitment ?

did you lower your car or is it still stock right now ?

thanks

And I don't mean to downplay the significance of a leaking radiator, but I've had plenty of that and delt with it by adding fluid as needed or using some leak fix gunk. I have not had a boost leak, but I've watched as friends tear their hair out trying to find one. It's way easier when you can see fluid dripping and a puddle under the car!
It's not what worked best for the engineers. Speaking as an engineer, we don't get to make these decisions. It was the bean counters who decided a TMIC was more financially viable than an FMIC and TOLD the engineers "design it with a TMIC."

Wait till somebody starts asking why no double wishbone suspension at the front (however I didn't read all 295 pages to be sure).

Message me on there.

Project Kics. I think for the price of $450, they're good, but would've rather got Mach V's for about $280. I just didn't know they existed. I assume I paid top price for top quality from Evasive Motorsport, so who knows.

The tires are overly sized. They're 245/45R18, so they fill in the gap nicely, but rub when I do full lock either side. When I had the stock summer tires on they were fine. I would rather retain the width, so next summer tires will be 245/40R18. Lower profile looks nicer.

Holy crap, for a second I thought you meant $15k and was like, "WTF wheels did you buy!?!?!"

MILES...I get it now.

So...what wheels/tires did you get?

Anyway, today I washed and waxed since it wasn't raining and took some horribly dark pictures. I really need the get the STi rears.

Do you have any more pictures of your BRZ? I have an SSM one too and I was wondering how it'd look like with STi trim.

Another reason is for safety. Subaru would probably prefer not crashing the IC at a frontal impact on a street-savvy production vehicle. I'm not sure how the Mitsu Evo's deal with that, though. I don't know what their overall safety rating is and if having a front mount IC affects that rating.

I don't have any good pictures. They're all horrible angles
I'll snap some better ones tomorrow if I remember.

OEM or replica? Been thinking about STi'in my BRZ but so expensive for OEM. If replica link to store please (or if you found a inexpensive place to get OEM ).

I think it's the replica kit. I don't see STI badges on the side skirts. You can find them on eBay. Bayson R is the best. I got the whole kit for $350 shipped from Bayson R. The full kits come and go, though, about every other month. I got the last one, but that was about two weeks ago.

Yep, it's the Bayson R replica (front and sides).
