It's always a shame that a few turds cloud the water so bad it's difficult for people to see the truths behind products. I think we will see a lot of this type of stuff come to light over the next year. Once the dust settles things such as the Airaid intake being bad will dissipate as people like William Knose unravel the myths of products. Since the beginning this particular community has had an abundance of folks who are not very well seasoned in the realm of tuning/modifying vehicles who think they are.

Unfortunately since it has been so many years since a real tuner car has come to market many who are involved in this community are too green to realize the amount of BS spread around in this community and the rate at which it spreads like wildfire.

Airaid is only one of many pretty reputable companies who have a sour taste from this community but don't come out publicly about it. In reality the aftermarket community is pretty small and it doesn't take long for a platforms owners to get a bad rap and future support begins to dwindle.

Keep doing what you guys do over there at Airaid.

I live in the eastern part of the city of Phoenix, and I easily make it to the west side meet. Then again, I do so b/c I work by the Deer Valley airport & the 17/101 is not that far from 101 & Glendale.

Sorry to make your happy day sad but there is an Arizona law saying the name "Arizona" on the license plate cannot be covered by a frame. You can get pulled over and ticketed for it.

I go to Allard Collision in Chandler. They also painted my tail lights red just how I wanted. Strongly recommend these guys!

I've been driving with a frame which does that for months & plenty of cops have had the time to see it. Haven't been pulled over yet.

They seem to have slacked off on enforcing that particular revenue generator in the last several years, I think.
