According to Paul, all new kits being shipped out are including new gaskets to fix the problem. As for the manifold welds, I will inspect them throughly. Ive heard many good reviews about AVO kit from multiple people on this board. I dont expect FI to go smoothly or very straight forward (i.e. after install all the little bumps and annoying problems to take care of), I really do expect to encounter problems, as any aftermarket FI kit buyer should. Considering my past vehicle background (06 2.5i and such) this car stock would already be the fastest car I have driven do date, so Im no where near prepared for something that will kill me that much faster. /life story Lol sorry for the long post guys.

I use the term E85 loosely, basically I mean another much higher octane gas other than pump, whether it be E85 or race gas. E85 is cheaper than race gas right?

I think you're getting ahead of yourself. Get it installed with a 92 octane tune before you do anything

I was simply referring to E85 as a long term goal, towards a kit that will provide OEM performance that should have come from factory, then a splash of E85 will remind me it's not from factory. Drums of E85 came about because there is no E85 in the PNW, this if I want any I'd have to ship barrels in. Someone suggested an alternative being race gas instead of E85, referring to the long term goal of my opinion on how the OEM performance should have been, then reminding myself why it's not OEM. You act like thinking ahead is a bad thing, yet most everyone tells me if you don't think ahead you won't be prepared for any problems that might come up. Sorry for being passionate about my car?

besides that, that's great news ![]() being considered slightly crazy sometimes, I wonder how feasible it would be to magnetize the crap out of the parts, and the part locations, then throw them on and see if they stick...yes I am a little crazy, but I like to think outside of the box
