I seen a lot of people mention the "stage 1.5" kit is this just the stage 1 kit with an exhaust setup?

Basically yes, it is a full exhaust (2.5" front to back) and the BOV, etc etc.

Sorry to bring up a relatively old thread but...
Im having a bit of a tough time choosing (in my opinion) the best of both worlds turbo kit. Best of both worlds to me means a DD 92 (WA gas) That makes the car what it should have felt like from the factory. The other world is changing to an E85 tune and reminding myself its anything but factory Im leaning towards the AVO stage 1.5, a few questions though, as im seeing it most people have multiple types of exhaust running on a AVO kit, so im assuming the exhaust flanges are universal? (Plan to run a 3") as far as a E85 tune, what kind of power would I be expecting? i.e. I would be traveling to @Drift-Office for my tune and such. p.s. another relatively off topic question, how long do these AVO stage 1/1.5 kits take to tune?

The exhaust flange on the turbo discharge pipe is a 2.5" two-bolt pattern, slotted so that it can fit a stock exhaust or a slightly larger than 2.5". A 3" may fit post turbo discharge, but that depends on the exhaust maker's design. When we designed the 3" turbo back parts, we had to discard using the exact same flange points as stock for the cross-over and front pipe so we could redesign the bends in the crossover so that 3" diameter fits through the crossmember hole without touching it or the stabilizer bar bracket.
E85 would depend on supporting mods - the turbo can push out 380whp on e85, but the exhaust and fueling will need to support that as well (and clutch). |

If I might ask - where are you planning to get E85? There are zero stations between Marysville and JBLM. E85 is not feasible for us in the PNW. Bob will probably tell you as well that E85 is not the way to go here. My kit was installed and tuned by Drift Office. I think my car was down for 4 business days?
