You need a D4S bulb, that's what the projector fits. Supposedly D2S works with some modification.

So any d4s hid bulb? Any recommended brands? Also, 35 watts right?

The ballast output is 35 watts. You'll need to use an HID bulb rated for 35 Watts.

I would stick with OEM Philips 42402, will give you a nice white color 4300K compared to our 4100K bulbs. They go for around $100. There are very cheap aftermarket options available -I've tried various aftermarket bulbs and ballasts before, but they all end up burning up/dimming over time. You get what you pay for..

Has anyone tried to mod the LED's in the headlights so they are a dual color LED so you can run the blinkers through the headlights instead of the normal location?
