Monogram/ Series 10 Headlights

Anyone able to ask a dealer how much does the Monogram/ Series 10 headlights costs? Thanks

They come with the car I believe.

I'm guessing you want to add these to a standard FRS. They're really expensive from the dealer, I think you need at least $1200 for the headlights alone but its possible it could be more. At the amount it costs to buy them separately its simply better to buy the Monogram or Series 10 altogether.

Your better off buying the Winjet headlights plus the housing is all black .
got minelast week and what a difference

^^^This. You won't find much better than that winjet light for the cost

There is another thread with all the info and pricing but they sti pretty expensive, plus if they are limited for the monogram, dealers might give you hard time like the 10 series on getting them. Yes I know some members have done it, but I've seen others who have failed. Winjet is a good alternative I think, just make sure you bake them once you get them to ensure seal.

Its all totally dealer dependent. My own dealer has no qualms about selling the HIDs on their own. Heck it was one of the questions they asked when I was contemplating a base 2014.

Now i know how to bake headlights but all i did was seal them with 3m adhesive so far so good . But what would baking them do ? i thought it was just for opening up the housing

3m adhesive will do too. Baking them just softens the adhesive, yes you bake them to open them, but u also have to bake to put back together. Just don't open them up in this case. This is also only an issue with some members, not all. I think maybe only the black housing ones too, forget

Can someone please tell me if the Monogram Headlights have a High Beam in the same housing of the headlight, or is it like the Winjet when you hit the highbeams where the LED strip just lights up.

The monogram HIDs work as both low and high beams. It's the GT86 headlights not aftermarket.

Having baked a couple sets apart, they use a... Gasket type seal instead of a more common butyl rubber seal.. I tried a thin roll when I sealed them up but maybe the roll was to thick because I couldn't get it to close flush, therefore had to warm them up and get the butyl out.. I ran across this just browsing the retrofit forum I'm apart of and seems a lot of retro fitters use them or something like this.. It was crazy and I'd have to look for the thread but how little water would fog up a housing..

Silica gel pack can be found all over.. I know this should be one of the things you HAVE to do, but it's cheap insurance..
