Borla UEL catless header, borla cat delete overpipe/front pipe combo, stock mide pipe, stock muffler. (Other engine mods as well but not relevant to post)
Dead quiet in the cabin (no drone), nice growl outside the car though. Perfect balance.

That actually sounds pretty good!
I think what I'll do is go back to stock for a while and see how I like it. If I'm not happy, I'm going Milltek.

My set-up is very OEM sounding. A little added depth but sounds stock. Just on cold-starts it has a crackle and pop but otherwise you wouldn't notice.

FA20Club catted header -> perrin overpipe -> FA20Club resonated front pipe (no cat) -> OEM cat-back.

I get my flowmaster cat-back today and hoping for it to stay tame. I don't like a lot of noise but a nice deep tone, I'm good with.

Starting to think for the money the Q300 is the best option.
The Milltek seems a little pricey and it's been having weld problems.

No thoughts on the Perrin 2.5"?

Once my FT86SF catted UEL comes, I'd be running a very similar set up. Resonated Perrin 2.5 Catback + Berk Catted FP.

It really is quite quiet during driving, I suspect the UEL without cat will give it that growl you're seeking.

The rear muffler on the perrin is a bit small and a bit louder than I'd like.
This car seems to need a lot of muffler to keep it civil.
Plus the Q300 is nicer priced compared to the Perrin.

The Milltek system isn't having welding issues, I only know of one person who has had issues, the rest, including myself, have been very happy with the exhaust.

I have a catless setup with the Milltek non-resonated, I'll get a video up by Thursday

I spoke to a Milltek vendor yesterday, and there have been at least 3 failures.
2 on the resonator and 1 on the rear muffler. Not saying it's a bad product.. just something I'd like to see resolved before spending $1100 on a catback.

After being reassured by Milltek regarding the few known failures, I pulled the trigger on their resonated system.
I purchased from frs86 since they have it in stock and gave me a great price.
Thanks for all the advice.

Quite loud. But it may be what you like. From what I've been able to tell, it's not raspy or droney, but loud still.

I think your right. Too loud is no hood for me but power from a header is a must! I will either be trading for a Kore quiet cat back or selling and putting the stock muffler on. I hope it would be too loud with just the header, nameless op/do with respect and stock cat. We shall see

I'd say don't waste your money on an exhaust that includes a midpipe if you're on a 2.5" exhaust. Stock mid flows quite adequately for a 2.5" system.

One reason I'm looking at going for the Greddy SP Elite axleback: very cost efficient, and quiet.
