Stock intake and Catback are good for nearly 400hp. As is the TMIC. An air filter, down pipe and tune is more than enough for stage 2. Exhaust will net a bit more power and give a different look but that's it. Stock down pipe is what kills the car. The STI, even the WRX is a bargain considering what you get. They do everything you could want a car to do, and they're fun. If you want luxury and still want an sti, get the limited and throw some extra sound deadening in it or something, shit. Lol

Well, depends on the Subaru. The automatics with VTD are better than the manual trans equipped cars except for the STI which has LSD front and rear along with that trick center diff. In general the Subaru drivetrain layout itself is superior to any transverse engine AWD layout (e.g. Audi Haldex stuff, but not quattro).

I would love to test drive the new 2015 WRX. I have no interest for the STI.

I Exclude all the Germain....because I do never like their Reliability. I have seen Infiniti Intelligent AWD commercial, but that doesn't say much. I have seen Subaru actions on the footage...looking great. |

I've passed friends coming up my parents' driveway through 1' deep fluffy snow. The car just blows a huge cloud of snow out the sides and powers through it. I had TONS of fun sliding sideways around corners before the ice and negative temperatures kicked on. |

I'll have to test drive it sometime, since I've heard the same. I hope it's a dramatically different CVT to the one they use on their naturally aspirated outbacks/legacys though, since I really don't like the way that one behaves (I've driven it a fair amount).
