I'm trying to gauge interest about a meet my local club does. It's called the Deuces Wild Poker Run and is hosted by TunerCoalition. It meets up at Cobb Tuning Surgeline and there is a Poker Run portion (hence the name) and a car show. There's prizes to win, lots of fun to be had, very family friendly. I don't have an exact date for it, but just know it's during the summer. It's a fantastic meet up and the turnout has gotten better every year. We've been trying to make it a larger meet for a while now, so the more cars the better!

So, anything you NW86ers would be interested in?

That's one way of winning prizes. We leave out in little convoys and cruise out on a bunch of backroads and make stops at stations where you pick out a card and build your hand, then when you arrive back at Cobb you turn in your hand as a sort of raffle ticket.

Sweet! I don't have an exact date yet, I just wanted to gauge interest; but it seems like you guys would all be down for this! We normally do it in either July or August, it's a whole hell of a lot of fun and it would be awesome to get NW86 in to represent! As soon as I get an actual date as the time for it nears I'll post a new thread and help get all'y'all signed up.

Its not actually playing poker really. Its driving to check points and being given a card at each one. After all check points have been reached the field "plays" their hands for a shot at a pot. Its just s fun way to go for a drive and have some excitement brewing at the end.
