Probably its clock like that because of space also the coolant hose go right next to it. That 90 degree bend won't do anything because the piping is a lot bigger being a 2.5 inch so it makes up for it.

What would be that thing in the back of the camshaft, where the auto transmission pump usually is?

I'm curious as to the compatibility of a direct bolt-on with the stock fuel system and the final numbers with their off the shelf tune that's included with the supercharger. kinda of like the way that Jackson Racing has their kit setup for those that off the bat doesn't want to change the injectors and fuel pump.

If you're not aware, the HKS blower is a Rotrex-type in that it uses rollers and friction fluid instead of gears to turn the impeller.
I have only seen one non-Japanese dyno, and it didn't make any better power than the other Rotrex kits on the market. The current HKS kit MSRP is $500-600 higher than other Rotrex kits. If you want this style of supercharger, I can't think of a single non-aesthetic reason to pick this kit over the Jackson and Kraftwerks kits. I would genuinely love to hear reasons why HKS is worth a premium, there seems to be very little information about them on the English-speaking internet. Will be curious to see the pricepoint for this revised kit. |
