Anyone tried this axleback? How's the sound?

So.. I'm guessing it won't rust right?

I've answered this before but I'll add to it.

I removed this after 2000 miles of use so you can see the condition of it. I drove it in the rain a few times, and one time after it snowed they put salt all over the roads. Rarely that happens here in Texas. There were some small specs of rust that rubbed off when I cleaned it. The manufacture suggested it needs to be cleaned if it's exposed to salt/ snow.

My latest race system from them is holding up very well with 2500 miles so far. I inspected it yesterday while installing my ohlins coilovers.

Over pipe from Top Speed Auto.

Cat-less front pipe from Top Speed Auto. Both fit 100% spot on. Quality is well worth the price of $179. I will be upgrading to 3" later but I wanted to see how the catless would work out. It smells from the outside but inside it's okay. It opened up the car a bit and I can definitely notice more power.

No cats!

h4nh, Did you have any issue with the slip fitting connecting to the muffler leaking at all on then first muffler you had from them? I bought an exhaust (not this brand) and I have to believe it was made in the same factory since it looks identicle in every aspect but I have a bit of a leak at the moment.

After a while I got used to it. Actually it doesn't seem to be much drone anymore. I can drive it long distances with no issues. I'm very happy with the sound especially going full throttle

I didn't have any leaks at all. I cleaned up the exhaust and sold it to another forum member here since I was no longer using it.

I thought it would be easier but it took a while to install since one of the factory studs were seized. The factory over pipe had a hard time coming out. We had to remove the head shield on it and pry the engine up a bit. Also we didn't have access to a lift today so we did it the old fashioned way on the driveway.

The fitment was spot on as the cat back exhaust I've previously installed. All the hardware & gaskets were provided as well.

The car sounds amazing! I will have to get a video when the weather is better. It definitely opened up and I can feel a big difference in power. Of course I am running an avo turbo kit and no check engine light since the base map tune takes care of that.

Here's the overpipe /front pipe link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Scion-FRS-Su...3b8907&vxp=mtr

179$ and it fits prefect! Size of the piping is 2.25" by the way.
Just received one of these bad boys last week. Going to install them by the end of the month, can't wait.

Any further updates? I too am trying to decide between Topspeed race and street, NA/stock headers, concerned about drone. If anyone has anything to add, it would be much appreciated.

Few questions:
Does anyone have the Top speed Auto (quieter one) exhaust paired with a aftermarket front pipe? From what I understand, Top speed Auto exhaust is just a tad louder than stock. Curious what it would sound like with a aftermarket catted/resonated front pipe
I would love to have the Corsa exhaust, but don't have an extra $1000 dollar to spend lol.

Thank you!
