Pardon my intelligence but what is a TQ250 and M45 blower? Is that the ESC + "insert cool stuff here"? Sound like a type of battery?

The TQ250 is the phantom electric supercharger. It is centri blower connected to a electric motor for drive power.

The M45 is a positive displacement blower that was already fitted to the car in question.

What you see is the before and after of having just a PD blower and having a PD blower plus the Electric supercharger in a twin configuration.

The large and small denominations on the graph are the TQ180 and the TQ250, the 180 does not apply to our car as it is too small.

Thank you for the free education, everyone here is so nice. Thank God it's not like other forums I've joined in the pass, i would've been kicked around a few times for not knowing the lingo.

I hate all you dual dump pack people. Just when I thought I was out I keep getting pulled back in..... Has anyone developed a step by step installation of the dual packs and relocation of the battery?

thatruth2001: I hate all you dual dump pack people

I haven't even got the kit yet but yeah, the dual pack is a must for me.
If I ever catch up on my projects, I'll try to make a DIY relocation, preferably to the back seat. Though I still want to know how to get the positive cable into the cabin, I don't want to drill an unnecessary hole through the firewall. All I have to do is fix my tail light/fish tank (about 1 inch of water in there now) + 20 other things. I suppose I am gonna break down and get the OFT/OFH combo while waiting for all the tunes and the tq300 to become available. (anybody here heat-wrap the OFH?)

Quick question, is the aux charger necessary with the dual pack setup or just a perk?

The positive cable fits fine through the firewall where the sound tube was disconnected. Then you can run it right up through the center console. You don't need the aux. charger.

Thanks, I haven't removed any of the sound tube stuff, so I don't really know the size of the hole, but judging from the plug I used to block it off, I wouldn't think a 4ga (That's what you used If i remember correctly) would fit by itself, much less with all the phantom wires running beside it.

I have 16ft of both red and black 2ga laying around from a relocation on my 240sx I never got around to. Do you think that it would fit? *edit.. just the positive, I will probably ground to chassis, and run a ground strap from the outside/backside of that bolt to the engine, or the shock tower where everyone moves the ground to.

Im pretty sure that Rob recommends the Aux charger with the TQ300. Reason being is the increased draw the the 300 will deplete the battery pack quicker.

Very interested to see @shiv@vishnu 's results as he said he had a good performance bump even with the TQ250.

+1 - I've got an extra dump pack sitting here purely by accident.

I think what matters on the dual packs is the top end power. We've got a helluva a lot on tap down low. I'm curious how it will translate on the top end.

battery options

Just wanted to add my 2 cents here since I"m going this route soon.

Another option to a second dump pack is to get a higher discharge rate battery (high performance). I searched around for suitable replacements to the already inexpensive option Rob provided which is great but just wanted to see what else was out there.

YUASA makes a line of high performance ATV batteries called the YUMICRON CX.

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000GZRBXS/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3P2MG 08QLCLT2&coliid=I3J99HRX022I8H"]Amazon.com: Yuasa YUAM2218C Y50N18L-A-CX Battery: Automotive[/ame]

I have not seen a discharge graph of these at 200 amps but I'm pretty sure these will hold voltage better than the atbat packs.

Just an option to people that don't want to have 2 packs and relocate all that stuff to the trunk making it harder for servicing at the dealership etc.

Remember keeping the voltage sag to a minimum is gonna give you a more stable boost and more HP.

After seeing that plot with the m45, I really wana see someone run a compound set up with an innovate. That would give all the TQs
