Yes but first you have to break something new that you just bought.

Can't wait until I'm out of surgery so I can install mine....Had it sitting at the house for over a week. Surgery is scheduled for the 27th then as soon as I am able bodied I will be installing this asap.

The plan is:
ESC TQ250
OFT w E85 tune
OFH
J2 engineering exhaust
K&N drop in with modified snorkel

Possible dump pack upgrade

I'm sold on the 250 SC, just not sure about the OFT/package. Worth it? If I set it to 91 and then never touch it again, is it still worth it (or can I borrow someone elses machine and just pay for the flash program?). Or just buy the kit and that will be plenty?

Get the oft. It's worth it.

OFT is worth it. Shiv has tuned the Phantom extensively over the last couple months and he is getting very good results....even on 91 octane.

Plus, if you are in a area with e85 it is a simple reflash(free of charge) to the e85 map to get another 16-20hp.

If someone already purchased Ecutek in the past i would most likely recommend a protune from a reputable Master tuner.....that will set you back about 300 depending on the tuner.

The OFT is like $500. A drop in the bucket in the world of GT86 parts. Just bite the bullet and buy one. Borrowing someone else's OFT isn't really a feasible long-term tuning approach. They are designed to be used with 1 particular car. I've spent a good $3-4k on the car and the OFT was the best purchase so far.

A good tune isn't only about extracting power. It's also provides a safety margin by providing an adequate AFR and timing curve. With these maps properly tuned you significantly reduce the risk of detonation.

If you are running ANY type of boost, you need a good tune. There are several choices so choose the one that meets your needs and budget.

Hi Guys. Please excuse my ignorance. Is there further info about shortening the intake snorkel? For example, where to shorten, any pics and what benefits?

Thanks
PS. I wonder when the RHD version will be available?
Is @shiv@vishnu Vishnu tuning selling ESC and OFT together with a discount?
Will this include the RHD version and delivery to Australia?
