He did the delicious tune, although the whole thing was rather rushed. Hence why we're here and this morning Bill and I are nailing it down :P We want only the best for you guys.

Depends on the dyno, and also depends on the individual car. Every car is different in other news, I am on the dyno with Bill @Delicious Tuning. So far we have made good power over the base map on the first pull! E85 to come later today.

Percentage gain would be much better to go off of. I don't have a baseline of my car on the same dyno as we are on so I can't give exact numbers, although most people seem to be getting 265-285 variable on dyno and header.

At the end of the day I do have some news. Off of the base map that the majority of you have, we gained 15whp additional and smoothed everything out. We then added E85 to the mix and gained an additional 45whp. This is all done on a mustang, where my car base lined at 215whp. Percentage wise, the gains are very nice and the car pulls smooth, yet noticeably stronger than the base KW kit. On your average dynojet, what this all reads out to is ~275whp on 91, and ~332whp on E85.

Now for the inevitable news that no one wants to hear. We did start getting clutch slip on E85, and only at the last 1000rpm. I'm not qualified to say the second part but I'm guessing we're about at the limits of the stock port injectors at 332whp on E85 as well, and will probably need to upgrade those soon as well.

All in all I'm guessing that we won't be adding a smaller pulley (90mm) or header to the mix until I can upgrade the clutch and injectors, which should only be a few weeks to a month at most until I can do that. The car pulls ridiculously hard in my opinion, and is a blast to drive all around.

P.S. - Anyone have clutch recommendations? Thinking of the Exedy Stage 2 as I can get it at cost, just not sure if it'll hold.

I'm curious about the tune in that let's say I'm running 91 because that's all I get in Kansas City ... But at my NASA events I run 100 octane ... Will I see any additional benefit from the boost in octane in the new tune? Will their be additional maps provided?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the ECU will detect the better gas and advance the timing and in turn get more power but a specific tune isn't necessary. But I'm not certain so as I said, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

It should adjust to a certain extent. If you ask I'm sure bill would be able to make you a 100 octane map separate as well.

The ecu never adds timing beyond what's in the base and advance maps. It may take less away, which would have the same effect, but ideally rthe car shouldn't be pulling timing in the first place. Guys on 91 are more likely to see knock correction even on a mild tune, though in which case better gas would 'add timing' depending on how you look at it.

I asked William about this very issue yesterday and he replied that the KW tune is 91 optimized and will not take advantage of higher octane.

I did not think to ask, but if I understand ecutek correctly, map switching on the fly is straight forward, so perhaps a 91/100 (or 91/93) option is possible?

Well considering it's a Sunday, good luck. Bill, like most people, needs a life outside of work and Sunday is generally the day that someone will avoid for work if they have to pick one day out of the week. Aside from weekends, I believe he does have a ticket system available on his website, doesn't he? He's also quite busy strapping on an innovate kit on his personal car today :P

Submitted a request/purchase Friday night, he let me know that I'd have the map by today(morning).
