While logging and comparing 1.55 to previous tunes, I noticed something interesting. My engine load before the 1.55 never got into the 1.3g/rev range. Most I saw was in the 1.2x range. With the 1.55 the engine load post 6200 goes to 1.332g/rev and remains static to nearly redline. I tried looking into the mapping to see what is causing this but couldn't find anything. Shivs reply in another post :

Got me thinking and this is a question to Shiv. Is more going on in the 1.55 roms that we cant see with the current file definitions?? The reason I am asking is that my log now with the 1.55 is very different from previous logs with older OFT roms, yet the changes made to 1.55 are somewhat minimal in what can be seen with the editors in the top end. In particular I am interested in why my engine load now reads mostly in the 1.3g/rev range as opposed to 1.2g/rev range. Even MAF voltage is higher than before.

Should I add 2 bottles for every tank.

If you can add more octane booster you could try that if its within the usage directions. Otherwise better fuel

The obvious things to check are MAF Scaling and AVCS Timing. A change in the cam timing could result in changed airflow.

I dropped our test car off on Wednesday. Will be flying back down next week to work with their chief calibrator on the dyno. Then driving it back to the bay area. Then will install the OFH and some other exhaust bits and custom tune it some more. So I will have some good insight late next week

I know this sounds crazy but does the plumbing of the vortech allow the phantom to be installed as well?

The idea of a SC package with the OFH and free OTS tunes for life is very appealing. Very keen to see your results!

It is fully leaned on coasting because there is no fuel in the system. You want this.

You can't adjust the fuelling when on the over-run. I'm not sure why you'd even want to? For the other setting, just see where the corresponding load matches RPM and a just the table accordingly.

I'm not 100% but I believe MAF voltages is a decent indicator of air flow and thus power output and/or potential. The higher the better.

Exactly right. More maf voltage at a given rpm == more air in the cylinder == more potential power, thanks to improved volumetric efficiency in this case.

Then if that's the case a big thanks to shiv@vishnu for unlocking this extra power. Suffice to say I am very happy. The car screams.
