Make sure you are updated all the way. Erase the old tunes and sync the database file shiv gave you.

Food for thought for A/T drivers.
Have any of you considered a relay you can fire off the "sport" switch?
You'll probably turn it on any time you are likely to use the ESC and it disengages when you turn the car off.

It's an interesting idea, but wouldn't that defeat the purpose of drag reduction? I'm fine having it come on when I turn the car on.

Damn, I forgot about DR. Oh well, the arming switch could still be tied in to it.

Next question...Is there a lifetime on the motor? I remember it being mentioned earlier in the thread that there is a cycle lifetime to the batteries, but those are fairly easily replaced.

Showing your age there. Of course so am I by knowing the reference.
That was the last season, right? The same episode where they got the convertible top?

As a Knight Rider Fanboy, I refuse to look it up, but the convertible KITT (which, btw, worked just like modern hard-top convertibles, how cool is that?) was a different season than Super Pursuit Mode. I want to say it was before, but it could have easily been after.

Yup yup. I think it was when kitt gets destroyed by the truck and they rebuild him with a gang of car thieves who are hip and enjoy wearing tank tops.

This is what I was thinking. When it's engaged, the car stretches out to be more aerodynamic (supposedly).

Sorry. I'll stop.

Nah, we're off the rails now. Here's a nostalgic little video compilation.

P.S.--I seem to remember that there was a scene where KITT "buttoned up" and immediately went to SPM. So I think the convertible came before SPM.
