lol - that would be an interesting setup. let the passenger control the ESC with a foot switch.

No, i mounted the power switch/meter and WOT switch and then ran the cable over to the passenger footwell, then through the hole that the sound tube used to connect to before it was removed.

This is per the item in the instructions that says "Route 5 pin connector through sound tube passage in passenger side footwell. In engine bay, pull 5 pin connector to control box connector"

I took off the rectangular plastic bits in the footwells and pushed the wire through the area right under where the start button/storage slot/USB port is,

and from there through the sound tube passage.

EDIT: btw I stole that pic from this thread

Oh okay @VR46. I ran mine the drivers side through the door sil and into the engine bay. I like the passenger side idea better though.

I did the same. I think I'm also the only one that has routed the engine bay wires along the edge of the engine bay. Lots of points to hold the wires nicely plus excess can be dropped behind passenger side headlight.

In my opinion if you don't have anything the Open flash tablet is the best option. Its one low price and you get all the maps you could ever need including e85 which all other tuners will charge more for.

I'm going to be switching to open flash tablet this spring from brzedit.

What did you decide to do for a tune for now @VR46 ? My ESC just hit LA...only 90 minutes away. Hopefully I'll get it on Monday. It's going to be hard to wait to install it until Shiv makes his way down =)

Shiv should be able to generate a tune based off of his MT tune for the tq250. I can't imagine they would be that different.

Then once he meets you in person he can fine tune it. Either way if you only go WOT above 4k it *should* be okay.

OFT ordered, just waiting to hear back from Rob now. My car's still in storage 'till march though, so I'm not in a hurry.

$139......Batteries
$518......OFT shipped
$1549....ESC intro price
$1625....ESC retail

Totals: $2206-$2282 sans ESC shipping.

Very reasonable for the gains, I think my exhaust and intake totaled me around 1900, to mostly just make more noise.

Update - got the OFT tune sorted out for 93 octane/ESC. I got in contact with Shiv, who asked me to send him my stock tune off of the OFT - he got back to me with a .DEV file that I could load onto the OFT and apply to my car. Flashed the tune and went for a spin. I have to admit that my expectations for this kit have been completely blown out of the water. I can't wait to see what's in store once I can get back on the corn juice.

Took some more pics, which you can see here - http://imgur.com/a/0fnLV - I think I will go back and clean up the routing of the wires in the engine bay.

Thanks and congrats to @Robftss on releasing this excellent product, and great thanks to @shiv@vishnu for his help.

I think I'm going to nickname my list of mods the "cheap bastard build":

K&N panel filter - $36.55
OpenFlash tablet - $495.00
Borla UEL header - $535.24
Tsudo catted front pipe - $200
Phantom Electric Supercharger - $1549
Batteries for Phantom ESC - $140

Total: $2955.79

I'll pull out my car in the drive way and take a picture of my routing in the engine bay. Let me just start the pork leg on the barbecue first. (About 15 mins)

Dollar per tq is going to be really good, especially on e85.

I think those with the manual transmission will be pushing the tq limit of the clutch with e85 and the tq300 once its out.

Is the on/off switch for the display only, or the entire ESC system?

My routing. Also you can see why I'm jealous of the new battery holders.
