Its all over the webs. I would probably start off mining Dogecoin. Its very stable now and has had consistent returns. Spend about a day reading up on it and you understand. There are several steps in how to mine for coins, trade them into BTC and then get USD money in return.

trying to get on maxcoin, can set up the cgminer.bat with no issues and get the cards hashing,

thing is not sure whats going on with my wallet, used os x app to get the address, but it shows as "no block source available" and won't sync.

which to me means my wallet address means nothing and ****. or am i wrong?

The wallet sucks... I used MCXnow and used the deposit address there... sadly the exchange is down for maintenance right now

watching the debug file, keeps on trying connections and timing out, unsure wether to give up mining till i have a confirmed wallet, or keep at it

I would mine at a pool that doesn't use your wallet as a user name... like this one until MCX is back up... although Max/BTC prices are lowering at the moment

I get free electricity, so 0, in hardware I've probably wasted about 2 grand, although most of it was bought with bitcoins.

Just last week I bought a 270X and a 290 with BTC through tiger direct, but I'm an avid overclocker, so partly it's an upgrade over my 7950s to get into overclocking competitions.

If I only knew about this when I was living in college dorms still.


So for about 2 grand in hardware, how much can you earn in bitcoin per month? Do you need a full sized desktop or are there smaller devices you can use?
