This is news to me. I was racing LeMons at Barber this weekend, so I will have to hit him up tonight and get the latest.

I haven't heard from him in a few days so I'm not really sure what going on either, but he knows he has a place to stay and a tune if he needs it to get home. I think he's working on scheduling time to get it.

Its obvious some of these people don't get it. I don't see how anyone thinks @jamesm is siding with Toni. I'm actually baffled at how stupid people are to even think that, based off his posts.

This is what happens when you get people posting who are in the middle of a legal battle/issue with someone, and they post in the midst of it all. This is why @nelsmar's was actually taken seriously and respectfully because he waited till the storm was settled down to make an informative post. At least to me that is.

i'm not pro- or anti- toni. he's been nice to me when i've met him, but i've never done business with him. i just think what's going on around here isn't helping anyone out. it's just people talking for the sake of talking, who have nothing at all to do with the situation and nothing to gain or lose. it's a bandwagon, the cool thing to do this week. a couple months ago it was someone else everyone was jumping on.

it's just not right.

I'm going to have to disagree strongly here. Pointing out that someone has a less than stellar past in this industry isn't unnecessary. In fact it is quite the opposite. Protecting a community from a shady businessperson is the right thing to do. If he doesn't like it, perhaps he should stop screwing people over everytime he starts a business. A snake is a snake if you like it or not.

that's fine. there's a subforum for that. if you've had an experience you'd like to warn others against, by all means do so. that's not what this thread has become, though.

The problem is that this story isn't unique. Your story is the rarity as opposed to the norm. The rate of failure, bad parts, bad fitment, missing parts, and delays is far to high to be acceptable for anyone.

Rate of failure? Do you have any threads you can link?

I haven't read of any failure of parts that actually fit. I'm speaking in regards to the parts included with the turbo system itself. I haven't read of any wastegate, turbo, BOV, intercooler piping, manifold or downpipe failure.

I've heard more stories of AVO exhaust leaks due to warped flanges than anything.

I have heard of fitment issues/quality issues, shipping delays and missing/incomplete parts resulting in multiple runs to the hardware store.
