Wheel specs for Rocket Bunny Fenders

I am not very good with offsets especially now that I will have to push the wheel out so far. I don't want much stretch on my tire and do not want to poke much, just o have a clean functional wheel and tire.

From my understanding and I've been doing quite a bit of research about this, is in order for it to look proper(not sunk in) you will need to run a wheel w/ in the rear ranging form 10.5-12 wide w/ offsets between -44 - -22. Up front you will need to run a wheel ranging from 9.5-10.5 wide w/ offsets of -25 - -10. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please. This is just what I've been able to come up w/. Now if are going for a more sunk in look than adjust the offset more to zero. Since you are leaning towards the functional aspect, most RB owners run an 18x10.5 +22 w/ spacers. I know one owner that has the Battleship gray RB runs that size w/ a 15mm spacer in the front and 25mm in the rear.

Well, I pretty much got all of that. I am leaning towards canceling my RB order. It seems like the wheels are going to be scary heavy. I plan to boost the car but dont want to waste my entire budget on this kit that is going to decrease my performance.

If you go w/ a 2pc or 3pc forged wheel, they won't be super heavy at all

Not necessarily, you can get a Work Meister S1R in specs aggressive enough that u won't need spacers

I dont want to pay the price for work meisters. Wheels get destroyed...... U am not dropping that amount on something that will get eventually replaced,
Although the post above about running a +22 wheel with spacers sounds about right with what I plan to do. I have my eyes on a set of BBS's right now.

Your best bet for those is going to be the 18x 9.5 +20. Then you are going to need spacers for the front and rear.
The point is to get as close to zro as possible, you might even go into the negative depending on your width, tire and what you are going for. I am waiting on my kit to get here to measure before the wheels so i know what size spacers i might need.

so i kind of changed my mmd to these SSRs an dhtey come i a lot of shapes and sizes, with a RB kit on the frs wha would the specs be a 19? btw is mod bargains a reliable site to order from? thx really appreciate it I'm just learning before i take action lol http://www.modbargains.com/ssr-wheels-gtv-01.htm

My Rocket Bunny has arrived but I have not ordered the wheels yet. I will most likely go for these wheels, but I dont know what size spacers they are using. Anyone have a clue?

Low offsets, that's your key, 18" is ideal, look for 11" wide in the back with a very low offset and 9-10" in the front with minimum positive offset (mainly +20 would work but you miiiight need to run spacers).


Modbargains are very reliable from what I've heard.

I'm not sure who you mean but most RB cars run deep dish wheels or concave, meaning that the offsets are low, you either need to find low offset wheels or if you're planning to use spacers, it might look sunk in.

For everybody's info: rear fenders stick out +70mm and fronts stick out +40mm, suppose you have a wheel that is flush with the stock fender and plan on still using it, you need 70mm/3 inch spacers to make it work but who would want to run that wide spacers, dangerous.
