Just go with Forgestars! They'll custom make the offset to exactly your specs, or if you want them to do the work and choose the right offsets, you can do that as well, that's not a problem, but with these new Super Deep Concave Forgestars, you'll want to get a set of 10"s on the back to really show off some concave wheels:

Would anyone know the 'perfect' (relative) size for a 17" staggered setup on the rocket bunny kit? Thanks in advance.

Would these work? 18x9.5 +2 /18x11 -5

Reggie has staggered Meister's on his Rocket Bunny kit.
18x9.5 -25 in the front, and 18x10.5 -40 in the rear. 245/35's all around. |
So I just wanted to remove my old post and give everyone a more accurate size chart for the rocket bunny and wheel specs.
I am not responsible if you mess something up, I am only providing knowledge, not advice. Please PM me any corrections. Front Honestly a 9.5 width is the best upfront. You really need an effective offset of either -5 or 0 it all depends on tire size to prevent rubbing. a tire size such as 245 35 18, (with a 35 sidewall will be ok with a -5) however running a 225 40 18 (40 sidewall) will require at least a 0 offset. My current setup is 18x9.5 with a Effective offset of 0 running a 225 40 18 tire. Rear you can run anything from a 9.5-11+ in the rear. The best offset for a 9.5 is a Effective offset -40 the rear is a bit harder to do math on but look at it this way; for every inch more than 9 it ads half an inch from the center (imagining the front) so a 18x10.5 rear will require a Effective offset will require a -25mm-30mm offset to run a fat tire a 9.5 requires a -40 offset but you need a slight stretch. If you cant afford expensive wheels, Effective offsets can be obtained with spacers. For example, if you have a 18x9.5 +20 and you need a 0 offset, adding a 20mm spacer will zero out the offset giving you an effective offset of zero. if you have a 18x9.5 +10 and you need a effective offset of -30, you will need a 40mm spacer. |
