Correct, no front arm rest in the prototype I sat in, or in any of the pictures or info as shown above.

Aw man. Beat me to it. I was gonna say that. It just makes the rear look nicer a bit, that's about it!

I haven't checked, but has anyone else heard anything about this stop sale affecting Monograms? If it does, the fix will take some time. Figure at least another month until kits are developed and received at the port, then another week for installation and shipment to dealers.

If true, it's becoming tradition for special edition FR-S like 10 Series to be delayed at least a month after published release date by a stop sale.

What's the stop sale about?

Initially discovered by a Korean version of CPSC, this is shaping up to be the most expensive stop sale in Toyota's history. Toyota is scrambling to head off recall status by declaring a stop sale.

Allegedly faulty material encasing the seat heaters that allow surface temps to exceed spec. IMO, it's yet another example of having bean counters driving design and engineering decisions.

Toyota claims that only US produced vehicles are involved. Still, that means all of their bread and butter sales are defective. It's an enormous problem. Not tsunami enormous, but unlike an Act of God, this is an act of ignorance, something unexpected from Toyota.

To speed up deliveries, all they need do is toss a fire extinguiser into affected vehicles.

I wondered about that too, but it was only Toyota seat heaters that were tested. Either Subaru will have to address the issue or there's some difference between the twins or they aren't affected at all, why I'm asking.

Oh? I was hoping they're exempt since Toyota claimed it was just US built vehicles involved.

I went back a few pages and it was said by the same guy who said they had front arm rests, so not sure if the stop sale is 100% accurate. I would hope you don't have to wait like you did for your 10 series

Dam.... Sorry for feeding you guys crap. A rear arm rest lol. Wtf, first knee pads on the 10 series now an arm rest. I guess they had trouble supplying all the parts for the car now it's finally coming together. But I can already see the weight going up, better buy one quick before they get to fat. Arm rest, Dual HVAC, knee pads, LED DRL Xenon headlights, spoiler, keyless entry & start, heated leather seats, heated mirrors, Ect. Wonder how much the Monogram weighs compared to the original...

My dealership said they were having trouble with a supplyer about an element involving the heater in the seats. They want to fix it now instead of recalling it later. I can't tell you it's true but thats what my Scion guy said. Should be here around the end of the month he says.
