They seemed really confused when we came in to talk to them about it. We are friends with a lot of the staff there and someone gave us a heads up that one might be coming in. Almost no one there even knew what the monogram was but it came up when they checked their incoming inventory. They had a delivery date for port & delivery date to Arizona already scheduled.

Since they are allocated by dealer sales volume, that's why dealers are getting them without having knowledge of it being ordered. My theory at least

I just got a call from my dealer. The car should be here in 7-10 days.

I placed an order for an ultramarine Monogram yesterday! The dealership accepted the order but has had no word of their allocation from the Southeast distributor. They did indicate however, that they believed the cars they would receive had not started production yet. Looks like us in the southeast will be waiting awhile.

My dealer informed me my car was allocated but will get me VIN later today... We'll see how much longer of a wait... Excited, anxious, but hoping body kit and exhaust arrive before car for dealer install... Their going to roll installation into financing...

Hopefully confirmed datea yoday, build date, ship date, ETA...

Is it me or does it seem like they forgot to inform dealers about the release of this car lol. No one seems to know anything and now mention of the south east distributor saying theirs hasn't been produced yet??

I had to direct them to the Monogram page on the Scion website. They said that they have not received any advanced word from Scion. lol

The dealer did say that when the 10 series was released that they got them 2 to 3 months after the west coast did. It may be that Scion is waiting until they have vehicles available before promoting them.

Great... i was about to start making calls. Anyone near the Washington DC know if they are aware about the Monogram Series?

Your best bet is to just call as many as you can. Some dealers know just about everything about them and others don't know squat. Even on the west coast it's like that.

Good news, I'm visiting the dealer today because apparently they have one Monogram Series currently en route and they can order more. YAY!

Here's an opinion question:
I drive in traffic each day 18 miles one way and i drive mostly in the city area. Would you guys hate me for getting an automatic? I'm expecting to abuse the pedal shifters and I don't actually know how to drive a manual. Reactions?
