So in short dyno time + tuning + header for roughly the price of the what the header would normally cost. PM me if you are interested! Header should be done tomorrow. I will however need to tune the car ahead of time and get a baseline dyno done before the header goes on. JDL also said they can assist with installation if needed.

Who wants some horsepower?!
I've been following that thread for a long time. If no one else claims this I'll absolutely pony up the cash today. I don't have Ecutek but I'd buy that through you also Marin. What's the "hookup" price from JDL?

Quick question regarding HID kits..I was considering putting on an HID kit (5000k) and possibly using LED bulbs in my fogs..just wondering if anyone here has run into any problems or been pulled over for running an HID conversion? Seems like a theres a decent number of people using the HID conversion kits, just not sure how many have run into problems from the police..I'm leaning against doing it, just thought i'd get everyones opinion. Thanks!

I don't know for sure, but as HID comes stock on the BRZ limited id imagine it wouldn't be an issue at all.

Almost all of us are running HIDs.

If you're in an FR-S, you really ought to do the retrofit, which means HID projector and ballast, as well as bulbs.

If you've got a BRZ, as long as you're using D4S bulbs, it's just plug-n-play. Be warned, as you go up in color temperature, you're going down in lumen output (generally). There's about a 400 lumen difference between 8k and 4.3k bulbs. 5k is pure white, and probably the best choice if you're going to increase color temp at all.
