We've had a few unhappy Greddy Elite owners contact us a few months after getting the axle back upset they would not be able to order a mid pipe that works with the system. So just wanted to make sure people know this is all. You could possibly always have something made though by a local muffler shop.
Was it more, they couldn't find a stand alone or that they couldn't get one to fit? Most cat backs with mid pipes either fit the stock locations (HKS Legamax, Nameless) or they move the location and require a new mid pipe that they come with (Greddy Evo, HKS Spec L, Tanabe, etc).

In any case, I agree, if they have future upgrades in mind, don't go with an axelback, however there are options still.

It's been 9 months since I installed the Greddy SP elite. Still very happy with the sound coupled with the resonated invidia front pipe.

Produced 162hp here in the Philippines dyno jet. (Mods: greddy sp elite, hks drop in and invidia front pipe)

Since I love the sound, I did not opt to install headers.

Ordered my SP Elite this morning. After listening to about 20 videos and reading pages and pages of reviews I know I made the right choice for me. Plus, brand new for $500 shipped was a great deal.

I did not weigh mine before I put it on, but the muffler is considerably smaller than stock and does weigh quite a lot less, I'm sure at least 5 lbs. less if not more.

It is fairly quiet up to 3.5k (normal driving), opens up fairly well around and above 4k. nothing too obnoxious. just perfect.

Got my package. Saw the gasket. It does look a little crappy. What kind do you recommend I purchase before installation?? I searched and did find that a lot of people had leaking issues. Booo. At least it seems like an easy fix

I already have an Elite which I'm in love with. Could I not use this midpipe to make it a catback?

That mid-pipe won't work with the SP Elite because it can't be displayed.
