I thought OEM Toyota parts come pre painted...
The trunk is folded in to a arc shape. And my trunk lid is like ... Pretty bad. What do you mean by internal parts in the wheel and floor on body?

They told me they won't even consider totaling the car until the repair is around $18000. :|

Sigh.. In the end, I get screwed.
They don't total it, even if they do and say my car is worth 20k, I'm screwed 7k out just for using the car for 500miles.
So my best case is maybe get the car fix, file DV, get my car sold. Or if everything drives well, I'll just keep it and use DV money to mod. They did told me there is minimal frame damage.
I'm sure our car is not going to be worth a lot in the future, so I'm really hoping everything drives just the same before the accident, and just mod it.

I was wondering the same thing.. I thought it went by what it's worth.. Not what you pay for it.. And I was under the impression, 19-21 was it.. Not bashing the OP one bit, as I personally don't know all the dealings that's going on. I don't know every phone conversation and such. But I do know working in the business for so long, and from other encounters, that your sitting there taking it in the ass.. You don't want to, but you are.. Maybe we are missing a key part.. But sitting there, with a 500 mile brand new car that's been smashed.. Adding the trunk to the back seat.. No way in hell would I take that car back.. And even though I'm not one for conflict or being aggressive.. I would tell that insurance, to go fuck them selfs with any offer other then a complete total and a new car.. And if that didn't work, I'd get an attorney get it fixed, then sue the bastard that hit you for the attorney fees if need be.. You are a innocent victim to someone else's mistake.. You shouldn't have to come out at the short end of any straw... Put the lube up and stop letting them fuck you and push you around

Just my two cents..

I wish... I asked them to total it, they won't budge one bit. The backseat was actually in perfect condition. Door frame looks straight. Sigh... I'm just hoping for the best when they fix it back to OEM new condition.
I'll have a PDF file for the parts needed to be replace probably on Monday or Tuesday. Stupid insurance people takes forever to work.

Is it totalled? Frsure!

My first car was a Nissan Altima Coupe. I got T-boned and it should've been totaled but they insisted on repairing it. It was a lame situation, so I sympathize.
