Okay.
Update:
This is what the bodyshop told me toady.

"We will not be able to determine whether there is any suspension damage until a four wheel alignment is done, and that is not until the end of the repair process. There is no visible suspension damage at this time, and the technician has made sure of that. The unibody on your vehicle is designed to absorb impact, and suspension /mechanical items aren't generally effected by that."

Is she correct, or is she bsing me?

I didn't read the entire thread, I saw the pictures and it reminded me of my 79 Camaro that was only 3 months old when I spun out and hit a telephone pole. Damage to the left side and rear. The damage was probably worse than what I can see in your pictures and the insurance company repaired the car. I ended up driving the car for 5 more years after it was repaired. It looked good but wasn't the same after the wreck. The trunk had leaks and the paint looked bad. By the way, I paid $5,600 for it NEW. So you are probably a LOOOONGG way from totaled.

Well... I just hope everything turns out well for me.

I hope the car drives the same like before.

So far my goal:
Get the car fixed, file a DV, have some fun with those money.

She has zero reason to lie to you. Most shops will push a car to be totaled if they think they can't 100% fix it. They make no money when they try to fix something and it keeps coming back due to the owner not being happy. Plus they'd be just as happy to total it and sale you a new FRS I'm sure.

FFS I can't get over how awful people are at driving. Absurd that that should even happen unless their a tailgating f*ck, texting, etc.

Sorry about the car, and glad you're alright - hopefully you're able to walk away from that without back issues, etc after that kind of an impact.

i will say its up to the owner decision cause i just did a quick estimate and it came out to $11,850 with all brand new parts and its at 70% threshold so yup i change both quarter panel, rear body, floor, bumper, reinforcement bar, tail lights, trunk, and other small and parts also i r&i most of the interior parts and change some. also i put frame set up and pull but i only wrote what i can see so yup it might be more or less idk and different shop have different rates so i would say up to the owner decision if you want to total or not....

Remove and install. It's really close man you should really take it somewhere that has a higher rate. And get it totalled.

Unfortunately I need like like at least 18500 to get my car totaled... I'm like 6500 short...
I guess when they fix it, I'll file DV and mod my car if my car drives right.

Will did it get your exhaust and suspension? Look like frame is ok but you never know unless you check it closely it might kink or bend also did the air bag deploy? Did they put blend both door? if they tear it down I'm 100% sure there more damage...

Nope. Suspension and Exhaust is left untouched they claimed. ( i can vouch exhaust because it did not even bend the tips, I'm not sure about suspension.) But there is roof buckling which is easily repairable they say. Both quarter panel need to be replaced. Air bags did not deploy. I checked out both doors, they open and close perfectly.
Before teardown the damage is 9700. After teardown it is 12000.
The car speakers also need replaced. Because his car is so high up, my trunk took all the damage, my bumper only have some cracking..
They said there is some frame damage near the back of the car that will be straightened to OEM specs.

I would hope it was totaled with that much damage. Good luck trying to sell it with a claim like that.
