TO the comments above, I had lots fuel, like more than 1/2. I don't think it was TC etc, it was too harsh. Plus I was just starting from go very normally and slowly in traffic at night. Prob like 60-65 degrees F. I'm more inclined that it might be a fuel pump issue. But it's only happened once so it's not like I could get dealer to "replicate" the issue.
And it's been fine since. |

I also just ordered the intakte, which is coming from japan so it's gonna take a few weeks. I'm going to put it on when I get it tuned with headers in the next few months. All I have now is a k&n filter. |

To the people saying it's TC/SC related and things like that. No. That's not the issue. This isn't happening from a stop, it's happening while cruising. 3rd gear 35mph cruise control type shit.

Traction control will engage at all speeds. And when it happens in the default settings it cuts the throttle to zero for about 2 seconds. So yes, it's abrupt, and happens at any speed when there is wheel slip detected.

I'm very aware of how the traction control feels when it kicks in. THIS IS NOT THE ISSUE. There is zero wheel slip occurring. The issue being described here is just an instantaneous very hard lurch. A literal snap of the fingers in duration. Faster than you could even get off and then back on the throttle.
