Was I being hard on my car?
Ok. First I'm going to apologize for this because why I think like this I do not know. It's just the way I am idk what it is haha. Anyway, I did some driving the other day. Met up with some friends and they wanted me to spin the tires. I take it around a turn in first gear and let it get sideways then it jumps to a straight line. No problems. I've done this a few times. I feel like I'm hard on my car when I do this but I'm probably not? Am I hard on the car? Why do I feel this way haha.

No, seems like normal driving in this car to me
Iv bounced off the rev limiter, gone sideways, and alot more. These cars are made to be driven hard.

First gear ratio is pretty short. I really wouldn't do it in first gear

You live in PA, you shouldn't be judging anyone.
Your fine, just drive the car. Just don't rev it and drop it from neutral to drive.

LOL. You already know the answer to your question or you wouldn't be asking. If you plan on keeping a car for a long time, the way you treat the car will eventually show up in how little or how much you spend on maintenance. If you don't plan to keep it a long time or don't care, drive it like you stole it.

Yes, because over 100,000 miles you will save less then 100 gallons of fuel. That's a whole $375 at todays prices.
