I read that the BRZ will have a STI package which gives gets it to 300 Hp? is this true? if so are they going to do the same for the GT? I really would like to know this because i find 200 HP to be really slow.

Thanks in advance.
I know were supposed to be nice and respecful with all members in this forum but with this kind of threads from"new" members sometimes is very hard man

How could someone with a 2001 Land Cruiser, with its 230 horsepower and 5115 pound curb weight, find the BRZ/FR-S to be slow?

I do not understand the disdain for new threads when the site is so young. then youd probably whinge that someone is reviving an old thread....

if theres no new posts theres nothing to discuss. is that what we would prefer?

There isn't disdain for new threads. The disdain stems from people who create new threads who do not simply utilize the search function of this young forum.

The reality that we are facing in infancy is to reduce unnecessary threads such as one that states 'Question for BRZ and GT-87 hps' when information is clearly available all over the place.

So, what happens when there's a 10's of thousands of BRZ's and FR-S's on the road, with "real" information about technical tips, aftermarket mods, racing, club meetings and so forth flooding into the forum from enthusiast owners?

99% of these preliminary threads will be forgotten and buried under a deluge of valuable "real" knowledge that can be searched and referenced. To keep the redundant threads to a minimum and driving the newbs to search before starting a thread is just smart management of the forum at this point.
