So if we are proposing slightly crazy engine suggestions, why not throw in the BRM 3.0 litre H16? Built closer to spec and with tighter tolerances and lighter material...that would be one beast of an engine.

There's also the little problem that it takes around 8 seconds to spool up from idle to full power, so the throttle response leaves something to be desired...

so, we need to give some attention to this motor:

If it ever comes into production, I want to see someone slap two of them together.

That engine...Nissan forgot to tell you that it would Blown after every 10 laps. But don't worry, due to the Weight and simplicity of the engine, you can hand-swap a new one in within 1 hour of labor.

Therefore, created a newer Wave of Enthusiast who treats their cars on the fly similar to those RC

Agh true.... Throttle response would definitely be affected as would some cornering ability due to the slightly higher CoG, can't have everything

A toyota avensis, scion tc engine? Granted 2.4l is a bump in displacement, but that engine is hardly bullet proof.

I would put a subaru h-6 3.0 if I wanted to do a swap.
