does anyone know the dimensions? the beatsonic universal tablet holder is 5.7" wide, so I'm not sure if the OFT is wide enough to fit it.

I am using a piece of 3M EZ Pass Velcro to mount mine under the radio in front of the defroster.

They hold really well. My only issue is that I placed the car side one on when it was too cold and it fell off. The box my OFT came in holds the table nice with the strip on it though.

I use this: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Mountek-nGroove-Universal-Phones-Devices/dp/B004G1L52Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1390773007&sr=8-1&keywords=cd+mount"]Amazon.com: Mountek nGroove Universal CD Slot Mount for Cell Phones and GPS Devices: GPS & Navigation[/ame]

Works perfectly - right in front of me - not in the way, for me at least. Also it doesn't slide out or rotate at all during spirited driving sessions

I use one of these as a phone mount to the left of the steering wheel. Works very well for that, can be angled and rotated pretty much any way desired and the jaws fit a wide range of devices.

This seems like a bulky object to have in your car at all times. I can't think of many reasons to really be displaying it at all times. I could understand for FI cars having certain gauges setup like a failsafe just to keep an eye on things but... Viewing your fuel trims all day while driving everywhere seems a little excessive. lol

I would mount it in the glove box just like I did with my zeitronix gauge. I don't need to know what my ethanol content is every second, so why keep it visible?

Edit: unless you guys are talking about simply during tuning sessions to keep it visible.

Yeah I don't keep it mounted most of the time. Typically my cell phone is mounted on mine at least and here and there I mount the OFT because, well, it fits - but I agree it is not necessary to view at all times.

I haven't figured out a good way to mount it yet but I did find a perfect spot to store it.

Isn't this better than having a physical gauge for every single parameter?
I am not keen into turning my car into a late 90s joke.

I am saying do you actually need these gauges? I am tempted on my build to not actually use any gauges... But I have a setup similar to P3 gauge that I made my self that can display whatever I need discretely. I planned on having it display AFR & Boost and have it flickr on over-boost. But I am able to just program my ecu to flickr the CEL or cut fuel injection on these events as well so it really isn't as required.

If your tune is solid you shouldn't need this viewable on an NA car at all times. If this is mounting for tuning sessions then yes! This is fantastic! I have thought about getting a windshield suction cup to mount a tablet near the steering wheel for tuning so I can see data while on the dyno and street easier.

P.S. I dig the trunk storage idea, perfect fit! lol

Here is a pic of the setup using the mount that I mentioned earlier. The cord is just barely long enough, would've been nice if it was a little more like 2 or 3 inches longer. Then I could have mounted it a little bit more out of my view to the right. But it's fine and I can read values clearly while driving or reach the screen to start/stop logging.

Hmm... is it possible to program the ECU to display AFR, boost, etc. where the odometer is?
