JUST GOT THIS:
[QUOTE=Chase Bays]I don't know your definition of trashed but you did purchase a used item so there is going to be some normal wear and tear. The pulley was changed out as you know but it should look perfectly fine. I think the washer could possibly be a little mis-shaped and slightly scratched, but if you're really being that picky about something so small and non-visible then you should have bought it new. But you saved over $1,000 dollars so I think you did the right thing. As for the lid, why don't you send me some pictures? Worst case scenario I buy you a new lid which will probably be $10 or less. As I stated previously, used item. The item is in great condition, but it's used. So there's going to be scuffs and scratches from the install, use, and uninstall. Nothing new there. Just send me some pictures and we'll figure it out. [QUOTE=Shit Luck][QUOTE=Chase Bays] |

I'm not hating on you being pissed about this, I am hating on you for not giving them time to respond. You literally posted online 2 hours after receiving the package about the terrible product you received without them having a chance to make it right. I can tell you if I was the vendor, I would make it right, but refuse to do business with you in the future.

Forums really blow things out of proportion. We're all on the same team here.
Don't take out your previous bad experiences on your current experiences, how is that a rational mentality? You'll just make things terrible for the buyer and that's unfair. We haven't had a phone call or a voicemail from you. We answer phones like madmen so I don't know how we would have somehow missed it. But okay. The oil is my mistake. It was perfectly clean when it was boxed, but it has a brass vented cap for the internal oil and it was probably flipped around in the box so it spilled. Vortech ships these with a brass 100% plugged cap and you change it out during the install. I completely forgot about that. There is extra oil in the box. Clean it off with brake cleaner and you'll be set. Just be sure to add oil. My apologies! As far as the intake, I'll buy you a new one. Sound good? |

the pulley is destoryed, i have no idea how big of a shot it took but it looks like it was smashed with a hammer, two rows of ribs are gone from the outter edge inward. if it took a big enough shot to destroy the pulley how do i know the internals are ok? |

Oh and the worst part is everyone making claims and being the most vocal regarding the matter aren't even customers and they probably never would have been. Just be patient. I totally understand the worry and it's okay to get frustrated, but just be patient and optimistic. Don't believe every word you read either. With paypal and even with your debit/credit card you're 100% protected so calm down. As a vendor, we're not nearly as protected as you and our reputation is on the line. In reality, we're taking the bigger risk by selling to you. If people keep acting the way I have seen on this forum and just about every other one, they're going to scare off all the future cool products and good deals for your chassis. Vendors DO NOT want to do business with the kind of people I explained above. There is such thing as refusing to do business with someone and/or firing a customer, so don't be that guy! That being said, on behalf of every vendor here...cool customers are so very loved and appreciated. So keep it up! |
