Mine came USPS Priority Mail. 3 days total to NY (it was scheduled as 2 day, but was 3 due to weather delays slowing all shipments down). USPS has a priority map, but if I had to guess, 1 day shipping for you. Most of CA was (except for splotchy patches).

Perfect! Time for some fun this weekend. Reinstall stock air box, update to shiv's new tune, and bed my new Project Mu HC+800 brakes. Its going to be a busy weekend!

Thanks for the order! Your OFT should ship out tomorrow and you should have it on Thursday or Friday depending on USPS

Don't forget that you need to flash your ecu back to stock prior to OFT install. So you'll have to get a stock file from your ecutek tuner.

I data logged on the way home. If you zoom in properly, you can see the couple of times I went WOT in 6th gear (1000 RPM rise taking 15 seconds anyone?) and some good rev matching getting off the highway. If you also look really carefully and know what to look for, you can see towards the end of the log where the car was breaking traction in 1st gear from a roll. It was so cold today that less than 2500RPM with an aggressive roll of the throttle from start was enough to get the rear loose... and this was on winter tires. I am thinking I might switch back to 93 tomorrow till the super cold weather is gone and I get some new tires. Heck, the car had a nice light feint in the rear getting on the highway at ~50mph in second under WOT.

Edit: A link might be nice: http://www.datazap.me/u/luckrider/e8...-tune-5%C2%B0f I am still noticing large fluctuations in the LTFT. I am not sure if this is because the computer is compensating for the low E fuel or if it has to do with the amount of time it has had to learn.

It is unlikely that you will be able to return your stock ECU ROM back to 100% stock since your current flash has some unique license/customer info in an unused portion of the ROM image. So when you install the OFT, it probably won't be able to match your "stock" ROM with any of the actually stock ROMs in it's database. This means that it will not be able to automatically generate compatible tuning files. So you will have to load them manually. And if you want to run the new v1.5x tunes, you will need to download your "stock" map off the OFT and email it to me so I can add it to the database (.dev) file. I'll then post up an updated .dev file for download

V1.54 EL A01D Gas is amazing, just returned from the first drive. What a difference a tune can make! V1.42 was such a huge step in the right direction for this car, the V1.54 is even better. More responsive, pulls harder and quicker to red line.
Didn't tell my daughter, just sent her out for a quick drive, she needed a study break anyway. The smile was huge, the question though was a real pisser, "if you didn't change anything why didn't it run like this before"? The truth can hurt.
Need to dyno this car before the heat returns to South Florida.
Thank you for the excellent tuning.

Ordered mine today!

Shiv, my car is stock aside from an Injen CAI. I honestly have no clue how to tune a car, but OFT seems pretty user friendly and just by reading through these forums I think help will be easy to come by.

Stage 1 data log done on 1.53b, 55 miles after flash, 91 oct, header back + intake mod.
All instances of WOT were in 3rd gear.
Comments appreciated as always.

It looks quite good. Can't really think of any other comments to make. Which is a good thing

With the OFT, you don't need to know how to tune a car. If you can use an iPod, you overqualified to use the OFT to flash your ECU now that it comes with pre-loaded tune files
