It would be probably even easy to modify the stock aluminum under shield if need be for the sake of keeping it simple.

UPS man brought more puzzle pieces today,

Mishi oil cooler kit that I will make my own lines. Innovate Oil pressure/temp combo gauge, and some grimmspeed hood dampers so I don't need to use a broom handle any more.

Also some RE-11A tires in 255/40/17

Lines almost work but its not good enough for me. And if you havent noticed Im having a hard time choosing between black or blue couplers. Every detail counts

Im having a small love affair with TurboSmart products on this build. Here is the eBoost2 boost controller and there constant tension clamps. These things are sweet.

The fans have come in from Spal, along with material to recirc the waste gate and a vacuum manifold.

Got some sweet shop towels from my distributor, also you can see the TurboSmart clamps in the back ground.

Started making hard lines for the crank case breather, no more messy hoses.

Tossed in the Spal fans, they are a little closer then I would like to the down pipe. There is actually more room then it looks in this pic but I'll see what I can do.

Where did you order the material to make the turbo manifold?

@NetoKILLS Not really one place for everything. The bends and straights are from Vibrant, collector is made to order from Finland. Turbo flange is Tial, and the header flanges I have custom made locally to my specs.

Chip chipping away. I have changed the upper section of the charge pipe coming off the turbo to 2.25" to give just a bit more clearance by the oil cooler fittings. Other trivial things done like mounted the boost control solenoid that came with the eBoost2. Work has been busy which is always good but means less time for turbo.

Looking good. Those clamps look so funky. I bet they hold up to boost really well.

thanks, this my first setup using the TurboSmart clamps I kept seeing them on a number of high end time attack cars so I figured I would give them a try. Ive used just about every other option before.

I bet they would be great in really tight spots where TBolts just won't fit as well.

Awesome catchcan much better looking than any of the others ones I've seen on forums. If you dont mind answering a noob question...these are just to keep the engine/intake free of misc gunk correct? Help keep stuff from collecting on the injectors and valves?

You could also made some vents that exhaust up near the windshield wipers rather than modifying the hood but the fender vents would be cool since they are not functional via stock.

And I suppose this would be a good time to thank you for sharing your fabrication skills. I love how it is just radiator after radiator in the front of your car and the air inlet is really cool too...are you going to box-in the intake's there so all your airflow doesn't bypass the radiators? I am also going to jump on the party line and say if you are going to become a vender and sell the trunk brace and hood brace I would like to be added to the not-so-short list

The BRZ is the first car I have had worth modifying...and this makes me want to void some warranty.
