"I've never run a battery to the trunk. How hard is it?"

I'll let you know later today, hopefully. I'm using a 4 gauge positive lead (this would be the minimum size) and running right down the center console. Need to connect this to a 150 amp fuse at the positive terminal (can anyone confirm that we have a 130 amp alternator?) Have to find a location for the PC 925 battery. The real challenge is connecting all the leads up front. The wires that connect to the negative terminal should be fine connected to the chassis. The wire connectors will have to be modified.

I've done this before. (Not on this car)
U1 battery case, a couple flag posts, ground to chassis.
I would use a 200 to 250 Amp fuse (mega-ANL), stereo guys use these.
In the engine bay, use the stud (13mm) that is on the positive terminal clamp, to bolt the eyelet from your + extension.

Something like that.

Not hard at all. I did it on my old single turbo t67 3000gt.

Installed the 4 battery system today. Install when pretty smooth except trying to locate a location for the starter battery. I was hoping to sit it on top of the spare tire but there wasn't enough clearance so I removed the spare tire and jury rigged the battery. Did a quick 0-60 run in 6.2 which is the best I've done but I don't do that very often. Car drives like before and I will try to get down to Speed Drift for a dyno after the batteries have been conditioned.

What path did you take for the wires?

Just the positive wire right down the center console. Only problem I had was the extra cable length presented a problem for my amplifier so I had to wire it direct to the new location. In the bottom photo you can see how I hooked up the ground wires. Installed a terminal right at one of the ground connections and it works fine.

Me too. I need to clean my engine bay up. So much melting going on lately, and the city has no mercy about all the crappy salt it is spreading. I just pulled a late nighter finalizing the first installation of my old TQ250, on an old Toyota Camry V-6. Did a few extra torture tests, before I parked her for the night. Ever see an old (93') 3.0L, automatic Camry smoke its tires (On dry pavement) for 30-40ft across an intersection?
I also did a couple of rolling pulls, and it accellerates so much harder in an effortless way... no fuss no burps, something must be wrong.
