I have noticed one oddity. On the tablet and in the top right corner of OFM it says FW 1.21 but in the upload data pane it says FW 1.20.

Anyone else have this?

Mine still says 1.13 I think. It's a glitch that's already been bought to Shivs attention.

I've been testing this on local cars for the last week and automatic map generation works fine in my experience too. One thing that would cause a problem is if the original file that is saved in the customer OFT is not exactly the same as the original file saved in the .dev file. If this is the case, the OFT won't find what it believes to be compatible tuning files.

For those who are not getting automatic file generation (write button greyed out) after loading .dev file and plugging into car, could you please email (shiv@vishnutuning.com) me your original file? I'll compare it to the matching rom in the database and make sure they are exactly the same.

I am going to try E85 today as my tank of 91 hit the empty light.

I kind of want to try the 1.42 E85 maps, just because its not in beta and its easier to upload lol. That being said, do I use the EL or UEL e85 map? My car is completely stock - A buddy of mine said to use the EL map because the UEL will run too lean. Just want to make sure this is right.

Either the E85 EL or UEL map will be safe on a stock car running e85. But the EL one is more suitable since the stock header is EL.

As soon as I get back I will do so. But when I bought my OFT my car had the factory tune and had not been touched before.

I think S2D4 makes very valid points on testers.

Anyone else using 1.5 stage 1 feel like the exhaust is markedly louder/beefier compared to 1.34? Maybe it's just me... Thought there wasn't much tuning left on the table since then

That makes sense. My "original" was a rom I updated with ecuflash before using the OFT.

Yep that's probably it. Would you like me to email you a stock rom to load via ecuflash? You would have to flash back to "stock" original rom with oft. Erase all data. Flash a true stock map to your ecu with ecuflash and then reinstall OFT.

Is it possible to do this from j700c to ja01c with OFT?
If so I'd LOVE it.

Wish that would work for me....

I have emailed my original to you, again mine was never flashed before I used the OFT. So while it seems like we have solved one this doesn't seem to answer why its unhappy with my which is a US 6MT JA10C.

How long will I be waiting for a 1.50 bin release?
