I'm not looking for used... Thank god, I'm okay.. I guess I just have sore muscles.. I'll go er in the next 2 day prob.. When I bend over, I can feel discomfort.. Not pain..

What i really want is have them write off my loan, give me back my down payment.. and give them my mod money... And get a new FRS.

Thank god the car took the impact tho..

Quick ques, do I need an attorney if they do everything in my favor? (I'm satisfied) and who pays for the attorney? This is my first accident..

Was at Route 66. Almost to exit 60.
Do I need a lawyer if they will pay everything? I thought i only need a lawyer if they aren't willing to cough up the money.
I'm fairfax too!

I think it looks totaled buddy. Glad you are okay. That's all that matters in the long run. Enjoy your next ride and hope to see you in another FRS or BRZ.

You only need a lawyer if you want to take his insurance to the cleaners. If they give you any shit, your insurance can step in and help long before spending YOUR money on a lawyer. In this case it would be for medical bills, not the car. Hiring a lawyer to haggle over the payout for the car would be absurd because if there was that much room to haggle, you could have done most of that extra amount yourself without paying him.

Most people who recommend a lawyer have never hired one in their life, and probably have never met one either. Lawyers cost money and don't work for free unless you're holding a lottery ticket of a case.

Seriously hurt = lawyer for sure. Soreness is a non-lawyer deal. Triple what they offer and accept no less than 150-200% of that initial offer.

As long as the frame is not bent, you still have a chance to save it. Just remember, the insurance companies WORK FOR YOU and not the other way around. If you do not want it totaled, be adamant about it with your insurance.

They will find a way. I had a TSX a couple years back with $11k worth of damage. Regardless, I made them fix it. One thing to consider though, is that the repair will always be on your history report. So, the big question: Is it more worth it to fix it or just cut your losses and by a new, clean title 86?

Don't want to get into an internet pissing-match, but you're 100% wrong.

The insurance companies job is to pay out as little as possible - this goes for health issues and/or vehicle value. Insurance is all risk vs reward, and they wont want to give up the "reward" because it cuts off their bottom-line profit. And if you think for a second that your insurance company "has your back," you're sadly mistaken.

If you are injured in ANY WAY, consider consulting with a lawyer. If they don't offer you a fair value for the vehicle, consider consulting with a lawyer.

I speak from experience, thank you very much. Correct, a lawyer is not free - but in the correct situation it gets you through a tirade of bullshit.

Sorry man, but only an idiot would hire a lawyer over a few hundred dollars, maybe a full thousand before his cut which is what were most likely talking about here. This wasn't a Lamborghini. If you read what I said I mentioned there is a time for a lawyer, a sore arm isn't one of them, unless you're wanting to milk the insurance which explains the price hikes every year even if you have a clean record.

A serious medical claim is another story, also mentioned. He doesn't need for the vehicle claim one unless they offer something absurd like $20k or less, which is what he owes. They will lowball, but not that badly.
