Getting closer. Turbo has been mounted. I've routed all of the turbo oil/coolant lines. Next will be the oil pump and intercooler/piping.

Oil line feed installed.

Spring clamps added to evap lines to hold under boost. These things were a pain to install.

Factory overpipe and shielding removed. Biggest puzzle piece I've had to remove yet. Would have been much easier when I had the tranny removed.

New overpipes installed.

Turbo mounted, bottom and top view.

A moth kept flying into my turbo piping, no joke. I had a bit of a struggle to get one out. Sealed them out for good!

Some photos of the turbo exhaust piping / downpipe / waste gate. Tonight I'll completing the exhaust piping. Remaining items for the turbo - oil scavenging pump, intercooler and piping, intake piping, BOV, vacuum lines, ECU reflash etc... If all goes well I should be starting her up this weekend.

It's all coming together now. Pic heavy update.

Oil pump line fitted.

Rota center caps.

Intercooler mounted. Sorry PTuning, not trying to hide the logo. Just trying to be less "flashy". It is still there but very faint. I chose the red IC piping to really show off the fine work when I pop the hood ;-)

MAP sensor installed.

First intercooler piping from the turbo compressor outlet.

Blow-off valve fitted.

My dog sleeping on the job.

A months worth of dust build up, sigh...

Second intercooler piping from the turbo with blow-off valve, mounted and (almost) ready for boost!

Nice build man. What alignment settings are you running with the springs? Would 245 width fit? Any rubbing?

Good thread... I have always wondered about the install process of this kit.

Any plans on going with an aftermarket header?

@RB6freak, I recommend you reposition the WG barb fittings to make sure the boost line is away from the bottom of the vehicle as shown below:

Thank you. I only have about 20 miles on the tires, haven't had the chance for an alignment. I'm not getting one right away until I break in the car. Also, I may be changing the suspension setup too. Once I get it on the track a few times I will know which direction to take.

245 - I doubt it without a spacer on the front. My 235's are maybe 10mm from rubbing the spring. I haven't had any rubbing issues locking the wheel side to side and going up driveway at an angle.

Not yet. Down the road, possibly.

Toan and Patrick have been coaching me throughout the turbo build. Those guys are a great help!
