Pretty sure they are an actual shop that jusy picked up the name for here. I found their actual shop name before somewhere.

My intake had the shit welds, filter that didn't fit in the bumper and I had to deburr the hell out of the hole for whatever pcv/recirc tube goes back in.. and run extra hardware to get the hose connected.

As I said, if I wasn't in a hurry I would have returned it as well but...

It does smack of "quick hit", doesn't it...

a little food for thought, when I had my issues with the intake I had sent a package back to the original address. The post office returned it to me as undeliverable saying it was an abandoned building.

Is all star a dummy LLC? Someone else had told me the MO is to pump and dump, creating a new sub company for every car that comes out. After awhile you move on to the next one.

after the back and forth I got his real name. Toni is short for Antonio.

It was damage control time 6 months into the build. Now it's time to salvage whatever you can from the smoldering wreckage.

Kind of... Toni does his own thing and rents space from TR3. He doesn't talk about it much but he contracts a lot of work to them and he told me he "had" a welder or two that "came in when they felt like it". AFAIK most of his welded products are out sourced but I cant confirm that. I think he was designing a lot in house and then contracting out for production. AFAK TR3 doesn't do anything on the front for this platform toni just uses their shop & space to work on cars. He is likely using their sources for manufacturing and contracting through them. Its all quite confusing.

As for all star design that is likely his old (possibly current) main LLC he runs his business through. He also owns "PREMIER CHOICE TRANSPORTATION LLC" which is his transportation company that used to be registered at that address. it has since moved AFAIK. I think he used to do web work and that was his generic web company. But that is mostly a guess, I just recall him talking about that sort of stuff before.

His main "Shop" company that he owns is EFI Logic.
http://www.efi-logic.com/eficart/
https://www.facebook.com/efi.logic1

Note efi logic web store style.

There also is not much posted anywhere about efi logic. I don't know if he accidentally used a name 1 letter off or if it was on purpose. I find it hard to believe it was on purpose. The fact he didn't simply search the name he was going to register makes me question his ability to make logical choices.

As far as I know he is new to everything here. Which isn't always bad but I cant find any reference of him being part of anything prior to efi logic, and the history on that is really quite short. The registration of the domain alone was only as old as january 2012.

I could be wrong on everything but that should give you some idea.

I can't speak to each individual issues, but from having conversations with him personally, he flat out said he was overwhelmed. And he has a family too, so trying to balance all of that out while spending late nights, traveling, tuning, trying to be a fabricator with little help. Something has to give. And clearly quality and support has suffered.

Just have to keep that in perspective. I have never run his parts or tuning. So I am not defending, just saying I don't think he is doing to this to cash in and walk away.

That's when you hire someone else to help.
