If you made a step by step DIY, I would love you forever.

I have had one of these kits sitting in my closet for several years now and I have never gotten around to installing one due to the lack of proper instructions and my own lack of skill when it comes to wiring. I originally bought it for one of my old Supras, but when I realized how daunting the install would have been, I decided to put it away and revisit it later.

Sooooooo, I'm definitely sub'd.

The only thing that still bug me it's the door lock. I try to control them via the door lock switch harness but the module don't seem to pulse right for the BCM.

You need add another idatalink for the door locks or its not going to work.

No keys are needed once you install the system.

If you don't have the push to start button you will need to use your key.

I have installed everything (viper 5704) and it work perfect
Just a few questions. The door locks- it works for about 10 mins and then stops working. I don't have a bypass module for the door locks. Maybe I tapped into wrong wire? Where is it located and wire color? Thanks so much for the help so far

Power Lock = blue wire located on the driver side kick panel, white 22 pin plug, pin 16
Power Unlock = pink wire located on the driver kick panel, white 22 pin plug, pin 15

I could not get my door locks to work for my setup without the second bypass module. The FRS has its door lock circuitry controlled by the car’s computer data bus. In order for the remote start Fob to integrate with and control the door locks (which may be necessary in order for the remote car starter to interface with the vehicle’s security system) a Door lock bypass module is needed.

If you remote start first the fob will work. After the car shuts off the car’s computer data bus will time out after 10 or 15 min and you fob won't work anymore. My fob did the same thing until I got the bypass.

I just finish hooking up my viper 5704 today. The only way to get the power unlocks/ lock is to tap into those same wires that you stated and to disable the factory alarm. The trunk poper, door unlock/lock, the remote starter, everything works perfect!!! Thank god! Only thing left to do is to hook up my window module. Btw can I get both left and
Right side window motor from the driver side door
Panel? If so what color wires?
