I'll have the heat exchanger up there but I agree, the stealthiness is great. NO one knows my car is supercharged, well thats until they start asking me about it and I get all excited like a 6 year old and start spewing out all the parts I have haha. An older gentleman last night at the gas station pulled up in a wrx hatch as I was getting into my car, and he came over to my car and was BS'ing with me for a bit and how he loved the brz. He mentioned how hes heard it handles amazing but a friend told him that it needed a bit more power. My next sentence was "yeah thats why I supercharged mine" LOL. |

[QUOTE=xxscaxx;1440528]Glad you got it figured out. The grease you are applying, is it just like what you are suppose to put on any other kind of o ring (I use petroleum jelly)? Just want to make sure I use the right crap when I install mine tomorrow lol.
Use red rubber grease. I rubbed the o rings with the grease then fitted onto the adapter and then applied more around the 3 o rings, to ensure the adapter goes into the core easily and seals. Remember to get RTV silicone to apply to the 4 studs in the core where the cooler sits on, to prevent any banging on the cooler. I found the plastic L connectors actually very strong, I applied Teflon tape and then Loctite RTv, went in super tight, no leak ever again. I was told NOT to apply any grease to the SC seal, the area must be clean and dry in order to seal tight. Very important make sure you ensure the coolant goes through the system properly, pump the,pipes to get rid of any air bubble. You will hear the pump sucking, it goes very quiet once the coolant is pumping properly and you notice the coolant running in through the bottle. Continue to pump the pipes to ensure absolutely no air lock. Sprintex advise any air bubbles or air lock in the coolant system will cause loss of power. Good luck, hope all goes well. |

@xxscaxx
I forgot to also mention, double check your SC oil once you have installed, some reason from putting kit upside down, lost a little oil somehow. |

Castrol Red rubber grease is what I used. As per our Sprintex manual.
What does your Innovate book instruct to use? |

I know it's probably pointless to do so, but tomorrow (weather depending) i'm gonna try to get her on a Dynojet before going to work. See what numbers she makes on that.
