Pulled the SC off and I spent the entire day stripping it down to find the cause of my problem.
The cooler adapter o rings, seems out of the 6, 2 were not the correct size, causing the coolant to leak into the manifold.
Now this is puzzling me. After changing the coil pack on bank 1 and new plugs, the very next day the coolant started leaking, which I can only assume the bank 1 has been dead for sometime and once fixed the boost pressure caused the incorrect o ring to fail.
I took the opportunity to seal the L connectors again, apply grease and seal the kit properly.
Put kit back, started up, car running perfect
Hopefully that's the end of my problems.
Glad you got it figured out. The grease you are applying, is it just like what you are suppose to put on any other kind of o ring (I use petroleum jelly)? Just want to make sure I use the right crap when I install mine tomorrow lol.

I'll have the heat exchanger up there but I agree, the stealthiness is great. NO one knows my car is supercharged, well thats until they start asking me about it and I get all excited like a 6 year old and start spewing out all the parts I have haha. An older gentleman last night at the gas station pulled up in a wrx hatch as I was getting into my car, and he came over to my car and was BS'ing with me for a bit and how he loved the brz. He mentioned how hes heard it handles amazing but a friend told him that it needed a bit more power. My next sentence was "yeah thats why I supercharged mine" LOL.

So yeah you are right sleeper can be fun.
this is the ONLY way that people know something is done to her.
lol

and yes, soon i will have a head exchanger up front, but i'm gonna keep it black, stealthy.

Use red rubber grease. I rubbed the o rings with the grease then fitted onto the adapter and then applied more around the 3 o rings, to ensure the adapter goes into the core easily and seals.
Remember to get RTV silicone to apply to the 4 studs in the core where the cooler sits on, to prevent any banging on the cooler.

I found the plastic L connectors actually very strong, I applied Teflon tape and then Loctite RTv, went in super tight, no leak ever again.
I was told NOT to apply any grease to the SC seal, the area must be clean and dry in order to seal tight.
Very important make sure you ensure the coolant goes through the system properly, pump the, pipes to get rid of any air bubble. You will hear the pump sucking, it goes very quiet once the coolant is pumping properly and you notice the coolant running in through the bottle.
Continue to pump the pipes to ensure absolutely no air lock. Sprintex advise any air bubbles or air lock in the coolant system will cause loss of power.

Good luck, hope all goes well.

@xxscaxx
I forgot to also mention, double check your SC oil once you have installed, some reason from putting kit upside down, lost a little oil somehow.

Once it got below freezing the clutch said it's goodbyes. Not sure how much HP/TQ since the dyno has not yet been fully unpacked from the move, but it's definitely faster. I'd say stock clutch is good for no more than 225 uncorrected tq, probably closer to 210 for any serious span of time.

For the record we just run some 255 Goodyears 240 treadwear and don't get too wild with launch control. It is just power pulling it loose above 3500 in higher gears. In the summer it was 200 UNCORRECTED tq, so figure at least 220-240 in the cold on e85 with the JDL unit. Car is dramatically faster in the cold without the IC, and we're able to run some seriously advanced timing on e85 in these temps.
Do you have any plots of supercharged, intercooled, with a header, on pump gas, both 70 & 75mm pulleys?

Thanks for the tips man. This may be stupid, but could you post up the red rubber grease you are using? I have a bunch of grease but none of it is red, i want to make sure its not some stupid special grease I need. I searched it and the only thing coming up is Castrol red rubber grease, want to just pick something up locally. the instructions say just rubber grease, nothing specific.

I have permatex ultra grey for the 4 posts for the intercooler I've been looking at the instructions to make sure I have everything I need.

Castrol Red rubber grease is what I used. As per our Sprintex manual.

What does your Innovate book instruct to use?

I know it's probably pointless to do so, but tomorrow (weather depending) i'm gonna try to get her on a Dynojet before going to work. See what numbers she makes on that.

Not to be a **** but I would like to kindly request that you stop comparing your car to anyone elses. You seem like a really nice guy and I like you but when I see posts like this it's kind of annoying. If you think you are ACTUALLY making more power on a 75mm pulley and 93 then you are either lieing to yourself or your car is a complete anomaly. To be honest I hope its an anomaly and you are a very lucky owner but it makes your numbers useless to the community, you are essentially on a different platform. Your numbers can not be reproduced on any other car on this forum.

i know, and i unfortunately can't stop comparing them in my mind, which is why i think it's an anomaly. and you're right, i need to not compare it to others, since my build is different from others. Sorry.
